My weekend ritual...Avoiding homework!

I know I should be doing homework right now but I have NO MOTIVATION to do it!! AHH! Classes end in the next couple weeks and I have papers and projects to work on but it is so hard to actually get down to it when the weather is starting to warm up and the sun is shining outside!

Today Kevin & I are hanging out... well, I'm hanging out & he's working on the molding for the nursery. I haven't gotten myself back into the nursery since we did work last weekend and was hoping to get more done during this weekend, but we spent all day yesterday driving up and down the state of NJ (slight exaggeration, but we did do a lot of driving) looking in different furniture stores for cribs. We had no luck. JCPennys didn't even have them in stock! We did find one on their website that we really liked, but we haven't bought it yet. It's a major purchase (loooots of $$$) and we want to make sure we make the right decision.

Tonight we are headed out to the theater to see "The Marijuana Logues" at the Count Bassie Theater in Red Bank, NJ. Tommy Chong from Cheech & Chong is starring in it. We saw him a few years ok and he was SOOO FUNNY! Actually we saw him before he was arrested for selling drug paraphernalia on his old website Chong Glass.com. When we saw him he was performing with his wife Shelby and doing some old Cheech & Chong bits & sang "Up in Smoke" & some other funny things. It was definitely a great time so we are looking forward to it again. The coolest part of the show last time was that you could buy something & he'd sign it for you. Kevin & I got our picture taken with him (my damn computer crashed & I lost it though...)! He was the nicest guy. He was so funny and sweet. I'm just excited to get out tonight & see him again.

Well, I better get back to my homework so that I can run to the store before we go out.

Good luck on finding a crib. It is a big purchase, so I hope you find the one you will just love for your little girl!

We have been looking at cribs too. It is so hard to decide what one to buy, which one is the best, etc. As you said, it is a big purchase. If you are having trouble finding the cribs at JCPennys, you can check out their website, they may have the cribs in stock on-line. But, I am sure shipping would cost a ton.
